You Don’t Need Everyone’s Opinion
Not on Art. Not on People. Not on Life.
One of the silliest things we do is hiding what we like just because someone else doesn’t. Do we agree?
One other thing we do is reading comments about some track or video on Youtube to know what others think of it — before we even listened or watched that video.
For some reason, it became important for us to know everyone’s opinion before we even form our own. It’s like we put ourselves in the position of waiting for a certain ‘allowance’ to enjoy something for ourselves. Or that we are dependent on people we do, or don’t know, to figure out what we should like.
Whether it’s books, music genres, movies, clothes or food.
