It’s a frequently revisiting struggle for me as well, Jon.

The more inconsistent/overwhelmed I get, the more vulnerable I am to the opinions of others. I guess that I have to feel proud of myself first (through doing) in order to be more resilient or indifferent to what others think.

This has become better through the years, though. Presently, whenever I notice these feelings creeping in, I recognize they exist because I feel like I’ve been lazy in a way. And the weird thing is — I don’t necessarily hate BEING lazy, but I hate having BEEN lazy. And as soon as I get back into flow, people can shove their negative opinions where it’s not sunny.

Thank you for sharing this with me!
Cheers
